J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series is known and loved worldwide because of its great cast of misfits including Harry Potter and his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and their adventures at Hogwarts School of Witchraft and Wizardry.

The story follows Harry's struggle against the movie's villain Voldemort (otherwise known He who must not be named), a dark wizard whose quest to become immortal at any cost causes him to be intertwined with Harry's fate. After suffering the loss of his parents at the hands of Voldemort, Harry bravely takes it upon himself to ensure that Voldemort's quest will not succeed. Though no easy task, Harry and his friends seek out Voldemort in an attempt to defeat him once and for all.

The success of these films even caused spin-offs to be created in the same magical universe, like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, a movie that takes place before our favorite trio were even born.

Even to this day, roughly 15 years after the final Harry Potter movie was released, there are global fans of the series who write their own fan fiction, expanding on the magical realm and devising new stories with their favorite characters. This is one of our all-time favorite movie series, and we couldn't recommend them enough.
