Who could forget Home Alone, the story about Kevin McCallister, an 8 year old boy left at home while the rest of his family goes on vacation to Paris, France. This movie quickly went on to become a Christmas classic and beloved by families everywhere.
After a fight with his family, Kevin, played by Macauley Culkin, gets sent to the attic to reflect on his "poor behavior". We say this in quotes because deep down we know Kevin didn't do anything wrong, and that his family was just bullying him, but we digress. While everyone was asleep there was a power outage which reset all of the alarms on their clocks. After waking up late the next morning, the family scrambles to get their entire extended family ready to go, and rushes to the airport as quick as possible. One little problem, they forgot Kevin!
They only realize Kevin isn't with them while they're mid-flight to Paris, and by that time Kevin has woken up and thinks that he made his family disappear. While happy at first, Kevin plays with his brothers toys, gives shaving a try, and goes out to do the groceries. Little does he know he's about to go up against the Wet Bandits, burglars who have their eye on Kevin's home.
As they attempt to break into the McCallister's mansion, they realize that Kevin's home alone and figure it would be an easy feat to break in. Think again.
